Welcome to the Owl Hill Learning Center/MTWP Pre-Kindergarten site! 

My name is Mrs. Julie Mathers, Educational Director. I have a masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Millersville University.  I am married and have a son.  When I am not at school I enjoy taking and teaching yoga as well as spending time in the England with my in-laws and family there.  I also enjoy spending time with my husband and son at our pool and the beach!

Owl Hill Learning Center operates the PA Pre- K Counts classroom at Reidenbaugh Elementary School as well as the PA Pact K4 classroom at Brecht School both housed in the Manheim Township School District.  Links to more information about these grants can be found below.

There are 19 students in the classroom at Reidenbaugh Elementary School and 15 students in the classroom at Brecht School. The classrooms are lead by a highly qualified teacher as well as a full time classroom assistant.  The students in the classroom are selected through a screening process which takes place each spring at each of the schools. Families who live in the either the Brecht or Reidebaugh "home school" area will receive a letter in the mail from the school district in April inviting them to come in for the screening.  Families are notifed over the summer months if their child has been selected or put on the wait list.

The four year old students in both programs ride the MTWP school bus to and from school each day, visit the school library, eat lunch in the school cafeteria, have reading buddies, and take part in all school special events.  Parent workshops and field trips are also offered throughout the school year.
